The Blueprint
Welcome to the Farend Blueprint
One starter for parked Farend sites: a static Svelte 5 / SvelteKit 2 base with Tailwind CSS v4 and DaisyUI v5. New sites stay public-only, or compose Access (member magazine) and/or CMS (/admin, Cloudflare Access login) on top.
- One content model — title, headline, menus, contact form, and home parts are the same whether they live in
content/markdown or in the CMS editor. Seed and Admin Reset copy static → CMS. - Three modes —
ADDONS = ""(static),"access"(gated full text / PDFs),"cms"(D1 + R2 +/admin), or both. - Eight structural presets (Classic through Brutalist) × colour sets, title/body fonts, button styles, and header chrome (size, nav links, surface) — encoded as a
TS…/TA…/TC…template code. - Light / dark (
site-light/site-dark) and 100% self-hosted@fontsourcefonts with latin-ext. - Contact and newsletter use the shared Pages Functions stack: Turnstile, Mailgun, D1 archive.
- All non-CSS config is
wrangler.toml. Theme tokens live inlayout.css. Open/showcaseto try every component.
