Why this starter exists
Farend parks many Cloudflare Pages sites side by side. They need to stay close: same contact stack, same theme system, same page types. This repo is that shared blueprint.
The base is always static. Access and CMS are overlays you opt into when composing a new site — they are not a second template.
What we ship
- Page types — home (modular parts), basic pages, news/posts, contact with a configurable form
- Menus — top-level items as basic, dropdown, or hero; children nest with a parent; footer stays a flat list
- Theme —
site-light/site-dark, structural presets, colour sets, self-hosted fonts - Add-ons — Access for member magazines; CMS for
/adminediting with draft vs live snapshots
